Agilent 6465B Ultivo Triple Quad LC/MS with 1260 Infinity II HPLC Overview
This system pairs the Ultivo’s compact, stackable triple quadrupole design with a complete Infinity II HPLC front end, delivering high-performance LC/MS/MS analysis without the bench space demands of larger comparable systems. The Ultivo eliminates the separate MS footprint by integrating directly into the HPLC stack.
The 1260 Infinity II Binary Pump (G7112B) delivers precise, high-pressure solvent delivery for reproducible gradient separations, while the 1260 Infinity II Multisampler (G7167A) automates sample injection with flexible, high-capacity handling. The 1260 Infinity II Multicolumn Thermostat (G7116A) maintains consistent column temperature across runs, supporting reproducible retention times.
The Ultivo mass spec brings its signature innovations to this configuration — the Vortex Collision Cell for improved ion fragmentation and MRM throughput, the Cyclone Ion Guide for smoother ion transmission, and VacShield technology for capillary changes without venting the system. Using Dynamic MRM, the system can monitor up to 4,000 MRM transitions per run.
