This Agilent 6546 QTOF with 1290 Infinity II Front End is a high-throughput accurate-mass system for laboratories that screen large sample sets and need fast, confident identification. The Agilent 6546 QTOF keeps its resolution above 30,000 across the mass range, and above 60,000 at higher masses, even at fast acquisition rates. That combination lets analysts separate compounds with nearly identical masses and assign molecular formulas from accurate fragments.
The 1290 Infinity II front end is what makes the system fast. The binary pump delivers up to 1300 bar at flows to 2 mL/min, so it runs sub-2 µm columns and short gradients, and its low delay volume keeps runs tight. The multisampler holds up to 16 microtiter plates, or 6144 samples, and a sample thermostat keeps them cool during long sequences. A multicolumn thermostat stabilizes retention times, and a diode array detector records UV data at up to 240 Hz beside the mass spectra.
