The Agilent 5975C VL MSD (G3170A) is a reliable single quadrupole GC/MS detector built for the identification and quantification of volatile and semi-volatile compounds in complex matrices. The Triple-Axis Detector (TAD) design improves signal-to-noise ratio for trace-level detection, while the diffusion pump provides stable, robust vacuum performance for consistent day-to-day operation.
This detector integrates with GC systems including the Agilent 6890N, 7890A, and 7890B, and supports a wide range of sample introduction methods — manual injection, autosamplers like the 7683 or 7693, purge and trap systems, and headspace samplers.
