This system pairs the Agilent 6890N gas chromatograph with a 5975C MSD (G3170A) detector and a 7683 autosampler, combining reliable GC performance with the sensitivity of a Triple-Axis Detector (TAD) mass spec and automated sample injection. Electronic pneumatic control (EPC) automatically compensates for ambient temperature and pressure changes, supporting accurate, reproducible results across runs.
The 5975C MSD’s diffusion pump vacuum system provides stable, robust performance for consistent day-to-day operation, while the Triple-Axis Detector design improves signal-to-noise ratio for trace-level compound detection. The 7683 autosampler (G2913A injector, G2614A tray) automates liquid sample injection, improving reproducibility over manual methods and reducing operator time between runs.
The included split/splitless (SSL) inlet supports both split and splitless operation for a wide range of sample types and concentrations.
