Agilent 6890N GC with 5975 MSD Overview
This system pairs the Agilent 6890N GC with a 5975 MSD (G3170A) detector, combining reliable GC performance with the sensitivity of a Triple-Axis Detector (TAD) mass spec. Electronic pneumatic control (EPC) automatically compensates for ambient temperature and pressure changes, supporting accurate, reproducible results across runs.
The 5975C MSD’s diffusion pump vacuum system provides stable, robust performance for consistent day-to-day operation, while the Triple-Axis Detector design improves signal-to-noise ratio for trace-level compound detection. This combination is well suited for identification and quantification of volatile and semi-volatile compounds across environmental, food safety, forensic, and industrial applications.
The included split/splitless (SSL) inlet supports both split and splitless operation for a wide range of sample types and concentrations.
This Agilent 6890N GC with 5975 MSD is offered fully refurbished and tested, in working condition, by Alliant Scientific.
