Description
Agilent 7890 GC with 5975C MSD & 7683 Autosampler Overview
Agilent 7890 GC with 5975C MSD & 7683 Autosampler
This system pairs the Agilent 7890 GC with 5975C MSD & 7683 Autosampler, combining Agilent’s 5th-generation Electronic Pneumatics Control (EPC) with a Triple-Axis Detector (TAD) mass spec for reliable, sensitive, and automated GC/MS analysis. The 7890’s digital electronics deliver precise pressure setpoint and retention time locking (0.001 psi), supporting consistent, reproducible results run after run.
The included split/splitless (SSL) inlet uses Agilent’s Turn-Top design, allowing liner changes in under 30 seconds without special tools. The 5975C VL MSD’s diffusion pump vacuum system and Triple-Axis Detector improve signal-to-noise ratio, supporting trace-level detection across environmental, food safety, forensic, and industrial applications.
The 7683B autosampler (G2913A injector, G2614A tray) automates sample introduction, freeing up operator time for unattended, high-throughput runs and improving injection reproducibility over manual methods.
