Waters Acquity PDA Detector 186015032 — UPLC photodiode array detector with 190 to 500 nm range, 80 points/s sampling, and a 500 nL flow cell. Refurbished and tested by Alliant Scientific.

Description

Waters Acquity PDA Detector Overview

The Waters ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector (part number 186015032) is a photodiode array detector designed for ACQUITY UPLC systems. It measures absorbance from 190 to 500 nm with 1.2 nm optical resolution, and an erbium filter holds wavelength accuracy to ±1 nm.

A prealigned deuterium lamp serves as the light source. The light-guiding flow cell has a 500 nL volume and a 10 mm path length, with dispersion of 0.8 µL or less, which preserves the narrow peaks produced by UPLC columns. A high-sensitivity flow cell with a 2.4 µL volume and 25 mm path length is available as an option.

Baseline noise is ±3 µAU at 230 nm, and linearity holds to 2.0 AU with deviation of 5% or less. Sampling rates reach 80 points per second, and the detector supports 2D and 3D data acquisition for spectral profiling and peak purity work. Leak sensors and full diagnostic data captured through the console software support unattended operation. The detector works with Empower, MassLynx, and UNIFI software.

This Waters Acquity PDA Detector is offered fully refurbished and tested, in working condition, by Alliant Scientific.
