Description
Agilent 7890 GC/MS System with 5975C MSD & 7683 Injector Overview
Agilent 7890 GC/MS System with 5975C MSD & 7683 Injector configuration is built for labs that want automated injection without the added footprint or cost of a full autosampler tray. The 7683B injector (G2913A) handles automated liquid sample introduction on its own, making it a fit for methods with lower sample throughput or benches where tray capacity isn’t a priority.
The GC/MS core remains Agilent’s proven 7890/5975C platform: a Triple-Axis Detector (TAD) on the 5975C VL MSD (G3170A) for improved sensitivity, and a diffusion pump vacuum system for stable long-term operation. The split/splitless inlet’s Turn-Top design keeps routine liner maintenance quick and tool-free.
Because this system omits the autosampler tray, it’s a lower-cost entry point into automated GC/MS injection compared to a full tray-equipped setup — worth considering if your lab runs smaller batches or prefers to add tray capacity later as a separate purchase.
