Agilent 1290 Infinity G1316C TCC — Peltier-controlled column compartment with bio-inert switching valve, ±0.05°C temperature stability. Refurbished and tested by Alliant Scientific.

Description

Agilent 1290 Infinity G1316C TCC Overview

The Agilent 1290 Infinity Thermostatted Column Compartment (G1316C) is a stackable, temperature-controlled column compartment using Peltier cooling and heating across two independent temperature zones, from 10°C below ambient up to 100°C, with temperature stability of ±0.05°C.

The spacious column chamber accommodates up to three 30 cm columns, or more when clustered with additional TCC modules — four columns in a dual-TCC cluster, six in a triple-TCC cluster. Low-volume heat exchangers minimize peak broadening and extra-column band dispersion, supporting UHPLC applications.

This unit includes a bio-inert switching valve, built with PEEK and ceramic wetted materials for compatibility with biomolecule and bio-inert workflows. A Quick-Change Valve design simplifies plumbing and valve exchange, and RFID-based column identification logs column parameters and usage history for GLP documentation.

This Agilent 1290 Infinity G1316C TCC is offered fully refurbished and tested, in working condition, by Alliant Scientific.

Includes:

  • Agilent 1290 Infinity Thermostatted Column Compartment (G1316C)
    • Bio-Inert Switching Valve
  • 30-Day Warranty

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What temperature range does this TCC support?

10°C below ambient up to 100°C, with ±0.05°C stability.

How many columns does it hold?

Up to three 30 cm columns in a single TCC, expandable to four or six columns when clustered with additional TCC modules.

What does “bio-inert” mean for this valve?

The valve’s wetted materials (PEEK, ceramic) avoid metal surfaces that can interact with or degrade sensitive biomolecules, making it suitable for biopharmaceutical workflows.

What is RFID column identification used for?

It automatically logs column parameters, usage history, and serial numbers for GLP documentation.

Does this unit include a warranty?

Yes — this unit ships with a 30-day warranty.
