For applications requiring more capacity than the Z306 or Z326 series, the Z366-K offers a unique mid-range design in a compact 17 x 20 inch footprint, making it a strong fit for labs that need higher throughput without giving up bench space.
This unit includes the 221.61 V20 swing-out rotor, which accepts a large quantity of conical, blood, or micro tubes with a variety of interchangeable bucket adapters. Advanced microprocessor controls provide instant rotor identification, automatically converting rotational speed to the correct g-force (RCF) for the installed rotor — preventing users from exceeding the rotor’s rated speed. The centrifuge also includes over-speed protection, imbalance detection, and program storage for up to 99 methods.
Beyond the included 221.61 V20 rotor, the Z366-K is compatible with a wide range of additional rotors — from a 24 x 1.5mL micro rotor to a high-capacity 6 x 250mL angled rotor, plus a 2 x 3 microplate rotor and a 4 x PCR strip rotor, available separately.
