Eppendorf 5920R Centrifuge Overview
Eppendorf 5920R Refrigerated Centrifuge delivers high capacity in a compact, ergonomic design — spinning up to 4 x 1,000 mL or 52 x 50 mL conical tubes at speeds up to 21,194 x g (13,700 rpm). Its refrigeration system uses Dynamic Compressor Control (DCC) technology for precise temperature management across a -11°C to 40°C range, keeping samples stable throughout the run.
The FastTempPro function allows pre-programmed, automated pre-cooling ahead of a run, and continuous cooling maintains temperature in the rotor chamber even after centrifugation ends. An ECO shut-off engages after 8 hours of non-use (adjustable) to reduce energy consumption and extend compressor life. The centrifuge also features automatic rotor recognition and imbalance detection for added operational safety.
This unit has a minor cosmetic crack near the control panel from shipping — it does not affect the keypad, display, or centrifuge function in any way. The unit has been tested and confirmed fully working.
