Elementar rapid N exceed Nitrogen and Protein Analyzer Overview
The Elementar rapid N exceed Nitrogen and Protein Analyzer uses the Dumas combustion method to determine nitrogen and protein content in 3 to 4 minutes per sample, supporting up to 300 analyses per day. It accommodates sample weights up to 1.5 g or 1.5 mL.
The system uses carbon dioxide as a carrier gas instead of helium, reducing operating costs per sample. Patented EAS REGAINER technology regenerates reduction metals used to bind excess oxygen and convert nitrogen oxides to molecular nitrogen, further lowering consumable costs.
A large ash finger is designed to extend system uptime between maintenance intervals, and pre-filled combustion tubes simplify routine servicing. The system delivers matrix-independent results with full recovery across sample types.
Instrument control runs on Windows-based rapid N exceed software with LIMS integration, and the method complies with current ISO, EN, DIN, AOAC, and other national and international nitrogen/protein determination standards.
