Its patented Isolera Spektra software provides real-time monitoring, gradient control, and automated fraction collection, with simultaneous UV detection across all wavelengths and unique baseline correction for improved detection of poor UV-absorbing compounds.
This system is equipped with the ELSD-A120, adding evaporative light scattering detection alongside the standard UV detector — useful for detecting compounds that lack a UV chromophore, such as sugars, lipids, and surfactants, which a UV-only flash system would miss entirely. Together, the dual detection setup gives a more complete picture of what’s actually eluting off the column.
The system runs flow rates from 1 to 200 mL/min at up to 145 psi, and is fully compatible with Biotage Sfär prepacked columns. A 10.4″ capacitive touchscreen handles on-board control, with Ethernet, USB, D-Sub, and AUX ports available for connectivity and data export.
