The CDS Pyroprobe 6200 is an advanced pyrolysis GC/MS system designed for microplastics analysis, polymer characterization and complex materials research applications. The Pyroprobe 6200 supports multiple modular configurations, including Dynamic Headspace, Thermal Desorption and Cryo-Trap options, allowing laboratories to expand analytical capabilities across a wide range of volatile and semi-volatile applications.

Equipped with CDS DISC (Drop-In Sample Chamber) technology, the Pyroprobe 6200 provides simplified sample loading, highly reproducible analysis and compatibility with major GC/MS platforms through a heated transfer line interface.

Integrated Trap for Enhanced Sensitivity

The 6200 includes a standard Tenax‑TA trap, enabling thermal desorption, preconcentration, and improved sensitivity for trace‑level analytes. This makes it ideal for environmental, forensic, and industrial applications where low‑level detection is critical.

Multi‑Step Pyrolysis for Complex Materials

With support for up to 10 programmable temperature steps, the Pyroprobe 6200 allows sequential thermal desorption and pyrolysis on a single sample. This enables fractionation, component separation, and deeper characterization of complex materials.

High‑Temperature Precision
