Description
HTA 2100H Headspace Sampler Overview
The 2100H Headspace Autosampler is a static headspace sampling system designed for automated GC and GC/MS analysis in small‑batch laboratory workflows. It supports processing of up to 14 vials, with each sample handled individually to ensure controlled conditioning prior to analysis. This design is well suited for laboratories running routine headspace methods where flexibility and repeatability are required without high‑throughput capacity.
Samples are transferred one at a time into a temperature‑controlled oven, where they are heated and agitated to establish headspace equilibrium before syringe‑based extraction and injection. The autosampler uses a gas‑tight heated syringe to introduce the headspace directly into the GC or GC/MS system, supporting consistent sample introduction while minimizing manual handling.
The 2100H is commonly implemented in laboratories performing environmental, food, chemical, and quality control testing, where automated headspace sampling improves reproducibility and allows analysts to focus on data review rather than manual injection tasks.
Available from Alliant Scientific, an authorized HTA distributor, supplying the HTA 3000A Automatic Liquid Autosampler with full support for system configuration, installation.
