Description

HP 8453 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with Multicell Sampling (G1103A) Overview

HP 8453 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer (G1103A) uses a photodiode array to measure the complete UV-Vis spectrum simultaneously in under one second, rather than scanning wavelength by wavelength. This configuration is equipped with the G1120A Multicell Transport, which holds up to eight cells with automated positioning, using a flat spring design to secure each cell without additional hardware.

The multicell transport supports temperature control via an external water bath through its thermostatted cell holder. Cell dimensions must be 12.5 x 12.5 mm with a 15 mm height from cell base to sample area for compatibility with the transport mechanism. The system covers a 190 to 1100 nm wavelength range with wavelength accuracy within ± 0.5 nm and photometric accuracy within ± 0.005 AU. Data handling supports compliance with GLP and pharmacopoeia requirements.

This HP 8453 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer with Multicell Sampling (G1103A) is offered fully refurbished and tested, in working condition, by Alliant Scientific.
